Fleming is a curated healthtech syndicate investing in digital health, medtech, and clinical workflow automation companies at pre-seed and seed, with selective Series A participation. We focus on one thing: backing category-defining founders early, and giving them the clinical, operational, and network advantages required to win in one of the world’s most complex industries.

Team
Fleming stands behind a carefully chosen community of clinicians, operators, and investors—all committed to backing founders who are transforming healthcare. It is facilitated by Oliver Bazzani and Oliver Tweddell.
As a Program Director seeding new health innovations, Ollie works with clinicians, technologists, and researchers from day zero: connecting them with the right people, navigating the complex health system, and transforming breakthrough ideas into breakout companies. His approach is based on the Stanford Biodesign methodology.
He serves on the WA State Government Innovation Advisory Board and advises leading startups and accelerators across Australia. He's built an angel portfolio spanning Australian and international healthtech companies and is a limited partner in several venture funds.
Ollie also designed a national Clinical Entrepreneur program ($40m+ in funding secured by the pilot cohorts), led innovation at a major public health service, and managed the state's largest angel investor network. He's an ambassador for West Tech Fest and the INCITE Awards, and an expert assessor on multiple government grant programs.
Previously, he founded businesses in digital health and creative industries.
Oliver Tweddell
Oli cares deeply about helping founders turn meaningful ideas into real, lasting companies. His focus is on supporting the operational side of that journey, from automating systems to building strong teams and navigating complex health environments, so great products can reach the people they’re designed to serve.
His approach comes from years spent running operations in fast-growing health tech startups, using automation and AI to scale, and from his background as a high-performance athlete (formerly world #1 in sailing) and coach. Both taught him the value of discipline, clarity and steady execution. Today, through his consulting work, he helps founders build the operational foundations required for sustainable growth.
